Sarah Winkler is a British contemporary landscape painter who lives and works in the Front Range mountains of Colorado. She has lived Out West for over two decades and her paintings have focused predominantly on its expansive nature and regional geology.

She studied Art, English and Earth Science at William Patterson University and began her fine art career in California in 2004. She has been represented by RH Contemporary Art in New York and Gallerie Citi in San Francisco. Currently, her work is represented by Gallery Mar in Park City, Space Gallery in Denver, NAVA Contemporary in New York and Grand Image in Seattle.

Winkler has recently exhibited in solo and group shows at Space Gallery, Helikon Gallery, RH Modern, Gallery Mar, The Thoreau Center for Sustainability, Fouladi Projects Gallery, Berkeley Art Center and Collector Gallery.

In addition to private collections, her paintings have been placed in Chevron, Ritz Carlton, Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, Viceroy and The Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas. In 2017, she was commissioned to create a large scale painting for Mountain Shadows resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Winkler's work has been honored with features in Scientific American Magazine, New American Paintings, Dwell, Mountain Living Magazine, and Alpine Modern Magazine.
