Big Sur and the Pacific Coast remains one of the world’s most breathtaking and awe-inspiring coastlines for me —where rugged mountains dive abruptly into the sea, and vibrant turquoise and marine aqua waves relentlessly crash against sandy, kelp-strewn shores. The lingering, earthy scent of ancient redwood forests hangs heavy in the cool coastal mist, while resilient cypress trees cling stubbornly to sheer cliff edges. It’s a place both mystical and raw, a timeless and enduring symbol of nature’s fierce and unyielding beauty.
The “Coastal Range” is a series in development that I’m eagerly awaiting its evocative imagery to surface.
