West Texas Landscapes
This collection of paintings capture the vastness of the West Texas Chihuahuan desert landscape, Permian basin and Rio Grande River waterway region that encompasses Big Bend National Park.
Each artwork explores the sensation of space, light and sky as a backdrop to unique geology and the delicate desert ecosystems, featuring cacti, shrubs and resilient grasses as central elements. Depictions of the land textures and formations emphasize the scale and surreal nature of the wide angle scene almost floating in and out of view.
