A series of paintings born out of witnessing two American eclipses in the path of Totality. Where the light upon the landscape reaches around 30 lumens just enough to see the desaturation of color and the edges of forms. Using a largely monochromatic palette in these paintings draws attention to the texture and composition that emphasizes light and shadow, contrast and temperature,
