Eclipse (Black and White)
An eclipse serves as a metaphor for the transient nature of light. The darkening of the landscape echoes the experience of twilight during an eclipse, a moment when colors deepen and shadows elongate.
The Eclipse series is and exploration of how darkness reveals the hidden layers of the landscape, much like an eclipse reveals the unseen aspects of the sun. Capturing the sensations of light and shadow and the cooling and warming sensations felt during Totality. Prismatic color is the least featured element in all of these works.
