The Winter Mountain series of paintings connects us from the mineral rich heart of the inner mountain to the vast luminous winter skies above the peaks. The work glows with mica infused pigments, minerals and marble dust deposited into the layers of paint. The colors and dazzling textures capture the enchanted snow capped slopes of world class ski resorts and backcountry summits under blankets of snow, with bubbling natural hot springs, frozen lakes and magical evergreen forests.
